According to a widely accepted definition, propaganda is the attempt to deliberately influence the thoughts, actions and feelings of people. Historically, propaganda was mainly a tool of dictatorships to entrench a political ideology within the people.
How is propaganda used and what is its effect? The workshop will examine the propaganda of National Socialism to show its effects, especially on young people. In addition, we also look at the present and examine the forms of influence in our everyday life. Interactively and with the help of examples from their individual experinces the participants will find their own views on the subject to use them in group discussions.
