The power of Propaganda
According to a widely accepted definition, propaganda is the attempt to deliberately influence the thoughts, actions and feelings of people. Historically, propaganda was mainly a tool within dictatorships to entrench a political ideology within the population. How is propaganda used and what is its effect? The workshop will examine the propaganda of National Socialism and show its effects, especially on young people. In addition, the workshop will also look at the present and highlight the forms of influence we are exposed to in everyday life. Interactively and with the help of examples from their current personal lives, the participants will find their own views on the subject and use them in a group discussions.
